ANKE LOH'S
COLLECTIONS
Anke LOH's approach to fashion
reflects the culture in which she engages.
She launched her annual
collection from 2000 – 2005 in Antwerp, Belgium, where she trained and also
designed costumes for theater and dance companies. In 2005 she was invited by
The School of The Art Institute of Chicago – Fashion Department.
Her
newest collection, featuring textiles that emit and reflect light, drew
international acclaim. In it, she finds ways to integrate improbable industrial
fibres, movement and light technologies.
She is collaborating with
textile artists, film-makers and Philips' "Lumalive" technology, among
others.
Anke LOH garments are available at our online shop, and more will be
presented in Chicago in her Fall 2007 collection.
