DRESSING
LIGHT
My first fashion project in Chicago, 'Dressing Light'
(Chicago 2006) explored my impressions of Chicago, which
represents a break with my previous Belgian habits.
The
'Dressing Light' project is a work in progress, not a final collection. This
initial phase of Dressing Light attracted print and broadcast media attention in
the United States as well as around the world, thanks to broad print and
electronic media coverage, including a Reuters wire story.
Research
includes collaborations with Philips, Luminex, the ITA, Institut für
Textiltechnik der RWTH, Aachen Germany, Christin Matson, Nathan Peck, Johan De
Handschutter among others.
