Collaborative Installation
by Anke Loh and Savneet Talwar
This collaboration is supported by the Swedish Hospital’s health equity initiative, “Awareness Through the Arts: A Path Toward Healing,” and funded by the Healthy Chicago Zones grant from the Chicago Department of Public Health. It aims to raise awareness of behavioral health needs in the North Central Region of Chicago by uplifting community perceptions through art.
The final installation at the Center on Halsted in Chicago consists of over 30 panels made from wire objects, contributed and arranged during a series of community workshops. Each object carries a story, a memory, or a personal gesture—brought together to form a shared tapestry of connection and care. More than 150 participants contributed to this installation. Thank you to all the participants who generously offered their time, creativity, and presence to this collective work.
